When World War (II) started I
was 16 years old and living in the then
Village
of
Verwood
in
Dorset
. I remember the blackout when no lights were allowed
and all windows had to be blacked out...... |

By the spring of 1945 German
outer defences had been broken and it was quite clear
that, within a very short time, Hitler's forces would
be totally defeated........ |
